Poul Kjaerholm, 1961
The PK91™ folding stool epitomizes Poul Kjærholm's ongoing adaption of historical furniture through a signature arsenal of design expressions. The source of inspiration for the PK91 is an ancient Egyptian folding stool that dates back to circa 1500 BC. The PK91 is part of the permanent collection at the Röhsska Museum in Gothenborg, in Sweden.
