Natural materials remain at the heart of great design. Stone, wood, and earth-born elements are shaped into elegant forms that bring depth and authenticity to contemporary interiors. This week we’re highlighting five pieces that celebrate sustainable sourcing, reclaimed matter, and innovative natural composites. Each selection shows how material honesty and careful craft can deliver refined results for projects that value provenance as much as palette.
BIENNALE
Kari Virtanen
Born from a commission for the Venice Biennale, the Biennale stool-table is hewn from single blocks of oak and finished to reveal cracks, wormholes, and the grain that records time. Nikari treats these natural marks as features, not flaws, so each object arrives unique and ready to age further in the home. Use it as a side table, a stool, or a low pedestal; its presence brings an unmistakable sense of tactility to any room.
EROS OCCASIONAL TABLE
Angelo Mangiarotti
Angelo Mangiarotti’s Eros tables are an exercise in gravity and precision. Our showroom proudly displays the green Alpi marble version of Eros, a material sourced from ancient Roman quarries. The design celebrates stone’s weight and gesture, relying on geometry and surface interplay rather than applied ornament.  Available in multiple sizes and shapes in white Carrara marble, grey Carnic marble, green Alpi marble, Emperador Dark marble, black Marquinia marble, or travertine.
POLLOCK TABLES
Dan Pollock
Each Pollock table is carved from reclaimed stumps and root masses rescued from the forests of California, preserving knots, voids, and the irregular lines left by growth. The result is a one-of-a-kind sculptural surface that reads like a landscape in miniature, where the maker’s hand honors the wood’s history rather than erasing it. These tables act as focal points of functional art that bring an honest, rugged warmth to curated interiors.
ALDER LOUNGE TABLE
Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola’s Alder Table rethinks what “wood-like” can mean by using Matek, a biodegradable composite made from recycled fibers and coffee shell or wood by-product. Light in scale and available in muted, earth-toned finishes, the piece is contemporary and responsibly made. Alder offers a way to introduce color and texture into a space without compromising on sustainability. This innovative collection also includes a side table and stool.

OS STOOL
Ole Schjøll
Simple and stackable by design, the OS Stool pairs a hand-braided natural wicker seat with a precision-turned wood base. The woven seat offers a tactile counterpoint to the frame’s clean geometry. It functions equally well as casual seating or a sculptural footrest, a compact object that reads as craft-forward and quietly practical.
