Not every brand earns a place in the SUITE NY collection. We look for manufacturers whose values align with our own, where craftsmanship, material integrity, and thoughtful design take precedence over trends. Koyori embodies that philosophy. Bringing together renowned designers including Vincent Van Duysen, Ronan Bouroullec, GamFratesi, and Michael Anastassiades with the expertise of Japan's finest manufacturers, the brand creates furniture that celebrates innovation and tradition. Every collection is thoughtfully edited, every material carefully considered, and every detail executed with remarkable precision. The result is a collection distinguished by exceptional craftsmanship, thoughtful restraint, and a perspective on contemporary design that is uniquely its own. Exclusively available on the east coast at SUITE NY.
HINODE LOUNGE CHAIR
Vincent Van Duysen
The Hinode Lounge Chair marks the beginning of Vincent Van Duysen's collaboration with Koyori, translating his architectural sensibility into a chair of remarkable warmth and restraint. Crafted in solid oak or walnut, its softly rounded seat, embracing backrest, and carefully proportioned oval legs create a silhouette that feels grounded and inviting. Every transition, joint, and curve has been thoughtfully refined, allowing the beauty of the wood and the precision of its construction to speak quietly for themselves.
KINOMI SIDE TABLES
GamFratesi
The Kinomi Side Table captures the quiet elegance that has become synonymous with Koyori. Designed by GamFratesi, its sculptural solid wood form is inspired by the acorn and defined by softly rounded edges and an understated silhouette. Every detail is resolved with precision, celebrating the natural beauty of the timber while demonstrating the exceptional level of craftsmanship that distinguishes the collection. Available in oak or walnut in two sizes and heights.
ICHIRIN CHAIR
Ronan Bouroullec
Designed by Ronan Bouroullec, the Ichirin Chair demonstrates Koyori's thoughtful approach to collaboration. The Ichirin chair expresses simplicity at its highest level, reduced to its essential form while maintaining depth, comfort, and presence, akin to the Japanese concept of “hitoe,” a single layer that is both simple and complete. Each element of the design is precisely considered down to the millimeter, echoing “ichirin,” a Japanese notion of an extremely fine measure, where proportions, curvature, structure, and footprint are carefully balanced. Available in solid oak.
HINODE DINING TABLE
Vincent Van Duysen
Rather than relying on ornament, the Hinode Dining Table derives its character from proportion and detail. Subtle chamfered edges, sculpted solid wood construction, and gently rounded forms reflect Van Duysen's philosophy of essentialism, where structure itself becomes part of the design. Calm, architectural, and beautifully crafted, the table embodies Koyori's commitment to furniture that feels timeless without ever demanding attention. Available in oak, black oak, or walnut.
MIAU UPHOLSTERED ARMCHAIR
GamFratesi
With the Miau Armchair, now offered in a new upholstered version, GamFratesi combines Scandinavian restraint with Japanese woodworking traditions. Available in beautifully upholstered finishes atop a solid oak or walnut frame, the chair balances generous comfort with remarkable craftsmanship. The name, (pronounced me-OW) references the the way the tips of the armrests resemble cat ears, inviting touch. The refined joinery and carefully considered proportions reveal the attention to detail that defines every Koyori piece.
