Originally designed in 1959 by Angelo Mangiarotti and Bruno Morassutti for the interiors of Villa Schwob, also known as Villa Turque, in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the Schwob Table is a study in structure, proportion, and material. A precisely machined aluminum base supports the marble top entirely by gravity, eliminating the need for mechanical fasteners between the two elements. Cross-shaped construction and integrated lateral handles add both visual character and function. Agapecasa's faithful re-edition preserves the original proportions, craftsmanship, and design intent of this remarkable piece.
