HidaHida
HidaHida is a comfortable and elegant easy chair, as well as something greater: a symbol of the kinship between Japanese and Swedish design philosophy. The design for HidaHida was sketched out in Japan and developed technically at Gärsnäs, in close collaboration with the brand's model carpenters, upholsterers, and the designer. HidaHida serves as an homage to haute couture, offering the essence of a garment draped over a frame. In fact, The word “hida” means to drape, and the chair’s personality comes from this contrast between the precise and the spontaneous. Furthermore, the spacious, ergonomic back provides embraces the seater in endless comfort.
