Chalet Stool
Chalet seating revisits a Swiss staple—the stabelle. Its seat is held together by four hand-turned legs and strong joinery. Any weight applied to the seat gains extra stability through the slanted legs, spread apart. This interaction of forces provides long lasting durability. Made from solid timber, the Chalet Stool’s inherent simplicity pays homage to its longer predecessor—the Chalet Bench. A slit down the solid seat highlights dovetail joinery.
